Peter Fronius is responsible for the System Solutions division at Fronius International. In this role, he bears overall product management responsibility for the entire welding system portfolio—from the initial product idea to discontinuation.

His professional career began with a degree in mechanical engineering from HTL, followed by studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Innovation and Product Management. After five years as a project manager in two international technology companies, he joined Fronius in 2012. There he held various positions: first in key account management for the automotive industry, later in the support of international subsidiaries.

Since 2016, he has headed the Professional Welding Tools division and been responsible for product management of the compact manual welding equipment portfolio. When he took over as head of System Solutions in 2025, his area of responsibility expanded to include the entire welding system portfolio. He takes a holistic approach to product management: together with his team, he accompanies products throughout their entire life cycle—from the initial idea to market launch and discontinuation.
