Background

Christoph Rüttimann has been Global Vice President of the Business Unit Tube & Bending since 2024. He joined Bystronic in 2017 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), where he was responsible for global research and development, technology strategy, and the integration of automation and digital solutions into the product portfolio. Before joining Bystronic, Christoph Rüttimann held several leadership positions in the laser and optics industry. With more than 20 years of experience in laser technology, process development and industrial manufacturing, he brings deep expertise to the sheet metal industry and to the development of innovative tube and bending solutions.
