Schuler, the world market leader in forming technology

Schuler is the market leader of metal forming solutions for presses and offers complete systems including tooling and equipment next to the presses.
Schuler is represented worldwide. Factories are located in Germany and Brazil, in North America as well as in China. And in addition there are more than 40 Schuler subsidiaries and trading partners worldwide.
In the past years, sales of Schuler were about 1.2 billion euros.

“Our customers are producing metal products, in particular automotive companies, but also other industries which need metal forming. Schuler offers a wide range of products and technologies, and every company which needs to bend or form metal can be supported by Schuler”, said Mr. Johannes LINDEN.

Schuler is constantly focusing on R&D since its beginning

Schuler is a company which is almost one hundred and eighty years old.
“Research and development is very important for us. Since Schuler has been founded in 1839, a lot of development has already been achieved, and we continue to invest more and more in R&D.”
R&D is also done in the Asian market. China is already today the biggest press market in the world. This is why a number of Schuler activities are directed to the Asian market, and the company is becoming more and more successful in China.
Generally, the ambition of Schuler is to have the most economical solution available for the customers in the market.
“As a consequence, when the customer has decided about the solution, the objective of Schuler is that the total cost of ownership and the total system cost per equipment are the lowest”, explained Mr. Johannes LINDEN.
