About ROTOJET:

The ROTO JET water jet cutting table is a 3 positions production machine for cutting, with placing system by video projection for non uniform raw-shaped supple materials (leather, rubber, seals, foams).

Technical description

The ROTOJET water jet cutting machine integrates the cutting unit, the fog exhaustion system, the electrical cabinet and the 15 Hp pump 4135 bar. The machine is constituted of a welded frame and a 3 positions carousel. The beam is motorized in X and Y with balls transmission and prismatic linear guiding. The beam is designed as “flying arm” motorized on one side only and holding the high performance Accustream pneumatic head – pure water with diamond nozzle.

A mast holding a video projector allows direct placing on the material to be cut. Productivity is assured by a 3 positions rotating table (placing-cutting-unloading) with indexing and honeycomb material supports.

The high quality Brushless motors and precision reducer on the ROTOJET have been especially selected in order to meet with high cutting speed requirements.

The machine is controlled from a control panel on the carousel equipped with: Control system 2 or 3 axes in real time based on Industrial PC and Man/machine interface with Windows SEVEN.

MD-X Water jet cutting machine

The MD-X, PHENIX TECHNOLOGIE new water jet cutting machine, has been commercialized since second quarter of 2016.

About MD-X:

The MD-X water jet cutting center is mainly dedicated to « pure water » applications but can also use the « hydro abrasive » process.

It is equipped with 4 servomotors allowing high moving speeds (40 to 50 m/minute) and 1 to 5 cutting heads. Ideal for medium to large series, it combines quality and long lifetime.

The 4137 bar high pressure pumps power varies according to the customer’s needs and requirements: 30 Hp, 40 Hp, 50 Hp, 75 Hp, 100 Hp or 150 Hp.

Technical description:

The MD-X cutting table is constituted of a rectified welded frame with machined guiding bearings (DUAL GENTRY model – Double axis X or Y). It is equipped with prismatic linear rails INA type and transmission by rack and pinions on X and Y axes with self-adjustment and ball screw on Z axis. It is motorized by 4 “brushless” motors with YASKAWA-OMRON incremental encoder. Its axes are entirely protected by bellows and protective casings against abrasive spraying.

The water jet MD JET cutting table is a compact flying beam-type table, constituted of a cast steel frame suffering no distorsion. With its reliable precision, it combines quality and long lifetime thanks to its special design made to minimize the machine wear due to the hostile environment with abrasive cutting.

Technical description:

The MD JET water jet cutting system is constituted of a cast cantilever frame (flying beam to facilitate loading by 3 sides of the machines) that can be equipped with 1 or 2 pneumatic cutting heads with very high performance.

The X, Y and Z axes are fitted with transmission by ball screws, linear rail guides and prismatic linear rails mounted on the frame previously rectified by a machining centre as well as Brushless motors with incorporated incremental encoder, protective casing against abrasive spraying and automatic lubrication.

The well achieved designed and the use of top range components allows to minimize the machine wear coming from an hostile environment with hydro-abrasive cutting and to guarantee a reliable precision while running with low production costs.

Technical description

The PRO JET water jet cutting system is constituted of a high thickness welded frame with machined guiding bearings (DUAL GENTRY model – Double axis X or Y). The access to the loading of the cutting table can be done by 2 sides of the machine.

Technical description

The water jet FIRST JET is constitued by a frame monoblock molded in foundry and provided with a flying arm supporting 1 or 2 heads of very high performance pneumatic cup.
The access to the load of the table can be made by 3 sides of the machine.

The PHENIX TECHNOLOGIE 5 axes hydro abrasive cutting centers are equipped with the PHENIX TECHNOLOGIE X5 system.

This system automatically balances the jet delay and suppresses clearance (see images here below) due to the jet conicity. The X5 system is equipped with 2 rotary motors allowing the head inclination on A and B axes. The cutting head can thus rotate in any direction while adjusting the jet imperfections by using complex mathematics models.

A axis: 1 rotary axis

B axis: 1 rotary axis

The X5 system also allows the operation of chamfered parts.

The PHENIX TECHNOLOGIE X5 system can equip any table in the PRO JET range, whichever the dimensions chosen.
